Product Details

  • Core material: Authentic natural agate in a substantial 70 mm horizontal focal stone with flowing white wave motifs.
  • Hardware & accents: Cylindrical turquoise nodes and 18K gold-plated brass spacers with delicate pavé accents.
  • Binding: Artisan hand-woven cord engineered to support the sweeping horizontal centerpiece.

Materials of Distinction

Agate and turquoise have both been used in ornament for thousands of years, their natural bands, veins, and color making every stone visibly individual.

The 70 mm agate centerpiece in WENYAO carries flowing white markings across a broad horizontal surface, while turquoise extends the blue-green field outward on either side. The contrast lets natural pattern do most of the visual work.

Jambhala chose this combination because Wenyao is remembered as a winged fish moving between water and sky, with its appearance linked to abundant grain and a good harvest. The materials make movement and favorable conditions visible in the same necklace.

Material guide: Agate · Turquoise

From Story to Form

Wenyao is a winged fish from the Shanhaijing, moving between distant waters and associated with a good harvest.

Jambhala translates that movement through a wide agate focal stone whose white markings travel across the chest like water, while turquoise extends the color outward beyond the center.

The design keeps the hopeful part of the story: flourishing depends on movement, timing, and the conditions that allow something to grow.

JEWELRY CARE

Keep your jewelry away from prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotions, sweat, and household cleaners. Remove it before showering, swimming, or exercise. After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store separately in a cool, dry place.

Natural stones, wood, amber, antler, and other natural materials may vary from piece to piece and can be sensitive to moisture, heat, strong sunlight, and impact. Avoid soaking, high temperatures, harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and hard knocks.

Jewelry is experienced not only by sight. The weight of a bead, the cool surface of stone, and the warmth wood gathers from the skin are all part of the piece.

A Jambhala piece is designed to be worn often and touched naturally, keeping its symbol—and the meaning you chose—close at hand.

We choose natural materials for their character, not for perfect uniformity. Grain, color, pattern, and surface will vary from one piece to another.

With wear, wood may deepen in tone, metal finishes may soften, and surfaces may take on subtle traces of touch. These natural changes are part of living with the piece.

THE MEANING IS YOURS

Every Jambhala piece begins with a meaning drawn from an old story. You may choose it for that meaning, for a memory of your own, or simply because you want to wear it. With time and wear, the piece becomes personal.
