Where East and West Converge, Radiance Emerges
In 2018, designer Fay founded Jambhala & Jewelry in her small Birmingham apartment. This was more than a brand—it became a dialogue between her Chinese heritage and the spirit of the American South.
The turning point came during her final year at the University of Alabama. As someone passionate about jewelry design, Fay attempted to repair a classmate’s grandmothers fractured jade bracelet for the first time, unexpectedly pairing it with American turquoise. Strangers began stopping her to ask about the piece.
“Jambhala” draws inspiration from the Tibetan guardian deity revered by Fay’s mother, reimagined here as the silent force of cultural fusion.
Our Commitment
Every creation begins in Fay’s sketchbook, blending Eastern symbolism with Art Deco lines
Beijing’s veteran enamel artisans collaborate equally with Alabama metal smiths
Our Belief
True fortune lies not in mystery, but in the courage to embrace life’s imperfections. Our jewelry holds no magic, but every clasp undergoes rigorous testing—because enduring beauty should weather life’s storms with you.
That chipped jade from 2018 now hangs at the heart of our Birmingham studio—a reminder that cracks ultimately transform into bonds of connection.
