In 2018, within a small Birmingham apartment, I, Fay, founded Jambhala & Jewelry. It began not as a brand, but as a heartfelt dialogue between my Chinese heritage and the welcoming spirit of the American South.

The spark was an act of healing. During my final year at the University of Alabama, a classmate entrusted me with her fractured family jade bracelet – a treasured heirloom. As I held the pieces, I felt the weight of its story. I intuitively paired its timeless, grounding energy with the vibrant, expansive spirit of American turquoise.

The result was more than beautiful; it was alive. Suddenly, strangers were stopping me, not just to admire it, but to ask, "What does that feel like?" I realized I hadn't just repaired a bracelet.
