Jiaoduan sets pumtek & agate against one clear focal detail, keeping the rest of the necklace deliberately restrained.

Product Details

  • Core materials: Authentic Himalayan Pumtek—ancient petrified wood cut into a geometric flat block with a cross motif—paired with a cylindrical banded agate node.
  • Hardware & construction: A pavé-accented interlocking carabiner link secured on a robust 18K gold-plated curb chain.

The Wearing Experience

Pumtek & Agate begins cool against the chest and gradually takes on body warmth. Its polish, pattern and cut remain visible at close range.

The cord lets the pumtek & agate elements move naturally on the chest instead of fixing them in a rigid line.

Jiaoduan and the Design

Jiaoduan is an auspicious one-horned beast credited with understanding distant languages and traveling immense distances. It appears when a ruler's virtue reaches far beyond the court.

The design does not reproduce Jiaoduan as a miniature figure. It takes one detail from the story—a horned auspicious creature associated with knowledge across distance—and works through spacing, contrast and the placement of the focal element.

Care

For this pumtek & agate necklace, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotions and household cleaners. Take the piece off before showering, swimming or exercise, wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store separately to protect the stone and plated details.

Black and white close-up of hands holding smooth, polished dark grounding stones, capturing the tactile physical act of using a wearable worry stone for everyday somatic anxiety relief.

Jewelry is experienced not only by sight. The weight of a bead, the cool surface of stone, and the warmth wood gathers from the skin are all part of the piece.

A Jambhala piece is designed to be worn often and touched naturally, keeping its symbol—and the meaning you chose—close at hand.

We choose natural materials for their character, not for perfect uniformity. Grain, color, pattern, and surface will vary from one piece to another.

With wear, wood may deepen in tone, metal finishes may soften, and surfaces may take on subtle traces of touch. These natural changes are part of living with the piece.

THE MEANING IS YOURS

Every Jambhala piece begins with a meaning drawn from an old story. You may choose it for that meaning, for a memory of your own, or simply because you want to wear it. With time and wear, the piece becomes personal.
